David Villa eyeing success with Barcelona
Barcelona striker David Villa has set his sights on Primera Liga and UEFA Champions League glory in his debut season at Camp Nou.
The 28-year-old forward has admitted that he is already thinking about training and playing games with the Catalan outfit and is keen to fight for honours in his first campaign.
“We want to win la Liga and the Champions League. They are trophies that I have not had much chance to fight for,” he is quoted as saying by Marca.
“I am already thinking what training will be like and what the games will be like with new aspirations.”
While Villa is targeting glory, he is adamant that it will not be an easy task for his new club as he believes the Spanish league is becoming stronger all the time.
“It will be difficult. All the time more important players are coming to our league and each time it makes the league stronger,” he added.
